At MARIA, we strive to ensure that your shopping experience is as smooth and satisfying as possible. However, due to the custom nature of our Print-on-Demand (POD) products and fabrics, and the complexities of shipping internationally, we want to make sure you are fully informed about our shipping practices and timelines. Please read through the following carefully to understand the details of our shipping process, including possible delays, especially for custom and international orders.


1. Processing Times for POD Products and Fabrics

  • Print-on-Demand (POD) Products:
    All of our POD products, including custom designs, printed fabrics, apparel, and home goods, are made to order. This means that each product is specially printed or manufactured just for you, which requires additional time for production.

  • To ensure the best possible production and shipping times for our diverse customer base, we work with trusted suppliers located around the world. This allows us to offer faster and more cost-effective shipping options, particularly for international orders.

    • POD production time typically takes 2 to 7 business days. This includes the time needed for printing, quality checks, and preparation for shipment.
    • Fabrics: For POD fabrics, production can take longer due to the nature of the material and printing process. Expect a production time of  5 to 15 business days before your fabric order ships.
  • Order Confirmation & Updates:
    After you place your order, we will send you a confirmation email. Once your order ships, you will receive another email with tracking details. Please allow up to 5 business days for tracking updates to appear after shipment.


2. Shipping Methods & Costs

  • Domestic Orders:
    We offer several shipping options for domestic orders, including standard, expedited, and express shipping. Shipping costs are calculated based on the shipping method chosen and the delivery address provided during checkout.

  • International Orders:
    We are proud to offer international shipping. Please be aware that international orders may take longer to process and deliver due to the complexities of international shipping logistics, including customs processing.

    • Shipping for international orders on handcrafted pieces generally takes 1 week, depending on the destination and local customs procedures.
    • Customs and Import Duties:
      International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the price of the product or shipping and are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your local customs office for more details on potential fees before placing your order.

3. Potential Delays for POD Products and Fabrics

  • POD Product Delays:
    Since our POD items are made to order, there can occasionally be production delays, especially during peak seasons, high-demand periods, or due to supply chain disruptions. While we strive to ship as quickly as possible, production and shipping times may extend beyond the usual estimate during these times. If there is a significant delay with your POD order, we will notify you promptly and offer alternatives, such as a refund, exchange, or store credit.

  • International Shipping Delays:
    Shipping times for international orders can vary widely depending on your location and customs procedures in your country. Please understand that once a package leaves our fulfillment center, we have limited control over how long it takes to reach you, especially for international deliveries.

    • Customs Processing:
      Customs processing times vary by country, and in some cases, packages may be delayed for several days or even weeks while they are cleared through customs. Unfortunately, we cannot control these delays, but we will provide tracking information so you can monitor your order’s progress.
  • Public Holidays and Peak Seasons:
    During busy periods, such as major holidays or special sales events, processing and shipping times may be longer than usual. We highly recommend placing orders well in advance of holidays to account for these delays.


4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, we will send you tracking information via email. Please note that:

  • Tracking for International Shipments:
    For international orders, tracking information may not always be available once the package leaves the origin country. International packages can take additional time to process in customs and shipping networks, and tracking may only update intermittently.
  • Lost or Missing Packages:
    In the event your order goes missing or tracking indicates that it hasn’t been delivered, please reach out to our customer service team for assistance. We will work with the carrier to locate the package and resolve the issue.

5. Undeliverable Packages & Returns

  • Incorrect or Incomplete Address:
    Please ensure that your shipping address is correct and complete when placing your order. We are not responsible for packages that are undeliverable due to address errors or omissions. If your package is returned to us due to an address issue, we will contact you to arrange a re-shipment, and you may be responsible for additional shipping fees.

  • International Orders:
    If an international order is returned to us due to failure to clear customs, incorrect address, or refusal of delivery, we may not be able to reship the item. Any refund for returned international packages will be subject to a restocking fee or deducted shipping costs, and the customer is responsible for return shipping fees.
